American guests have a clear memory of the diner booth: you slide in and it feels like a small room. The Ludlow keeps that shape and changes the finish. Two high-backed benches face each other, joined at the end by an upholstered return that closes the horseshoe. The back is upholstered in horizontal bands about 8 in (20 cm) apart, and a brass trim runs around the entire horseshoe without a break.
In oatmeal leather-look vinyl with brass, it reads as upscale casual rather than fast food; in red vinyl with a chrome-look trim it goes straight back to the 1950s.
Construction. Three-part frame (two benches and an end return) that bolts together on site, reinforced backs, high-resilience seats.
Table. Pair it with a wall-mounted or single-pedestal table so guests can slide in without hitting a leg.
Options. Overall length, return on one or both ends, band spacing, upholstery and trim finish.
