The difference between a convincing steakhouse booth and a cheap copy is how deep the buttons go. On the Prime, each covered button is pulled deep into the back so the leather between them stands up in full, rounded diamonds, about 8.75 in (22 cm) across. A row of antique brass nailheads, roughly 1.25 in (3 cm) apart, follows the outside edge of the back.
The seat is left plain and untufted, so it is comfortable and quick to clean. The back rises to 49 in (125 cm) for privacy at the table.
Construction. Rigid seat box, reinforced back frame designed to take the tension of deep tufting, high-resilience seat foam, recessed plinth.
Materials. Shown in a dark chestnut semi-aniline leather. We can also build it in a heavy commercial vinyl, which is easier to maintain in a high-volume room.
Options. Diamond size, nailhead finish and spacing, back height, leather or vinyl color, single, double or wall-run format.
