When a guest calls to book for a group of seven, the Crosby is the answer that does not involve pushing tables together. Three sides of continuous upholstery wrap an oval table, with the back following the curve without a break.
The outer size is 94.5 in (240 cm), with a front opening of about 47 in (120 cm) so guests at the back can get in and out. The two ends finish in a 12 in (30 cm) radius that flares slightly outward, softening the corners that face the aisle.
Why it pays. A U-booth is often the most requested table in the house. It handles birthdays and business dinners, and in many restaurants it can carry a minimum spend or a private-dining arrangement.
Construction. Built in three bolted sections so it can pass through a standard door; seat foam cut to the curve rather than rectangular pieces forced around it.
