Noise is one of the most common complaints in modern restaurants: hard floors, hard ceilings, open kitchens. Acoustic treatment usually gets added after opening, on the ceiling. The Quiet-Back puts absorption where the conversation actually happens, at the table.
The back is 7 in (18 cm) thick because it is filled with acoustic insulation, and the booth stands 59 in (150 cm) high. The rear face is a single perforated wool-felt panel framed in slim oak; the end shows the three layers in section, upholstery, acoustic core and felt panel.
What to expect. A high, absorptive back reduces sound reflected between neighboring tables and helps conversation at the table. It is not a replacement for room acoustics design; for measured performance, ask your acoustic consultant to specify, and we will build to their materials.
Construction. Rigid seat box, deep back frame with acoustic infill, perforated felt rear panel, floor fixing for freestanding use.
Options. Height, length, single or double-sided, felt color, upholstery.
